Lewis County Real Estate Market Update

Average Home Price: $484,168 (up $43,319 from last month)

Average Days on Market: 73 days, down almost 30 days from the previous month

Active Listings (Inventory): 367 homes

New Listings: 172

Homes Sold: 89

What This Means

Local Insight

In July 2025 Lewis County had 475 residential listings for sale and only 87 closed sales. Granted, some of those probably closed in August but closings were still low compared to total homes on the market, with 95 listings closing that month. This tells me that while inventory was high, it was not moving very quickly.

For Buyers: Now is a GREAT time to look at homes. Inventory is seeing record highs, giving you a lot to pick from and rates have been steadily decreasing. Not only have they been on a steady decrease, but lenders have been working hard with their buyers to help them get into a home they can afford.
